Well, if you have ever thought about the way you would have done things during the Civil War, Civil War II is a way to exercise those thoughts. You can play different roles in the military – from the President to the general leading the battle. Dominate the enemy through expert use of battle strategy. Civil War: Battle of Petersburg. 'Civil War Generals 2', it's an oldie but classic from good old Sierra released in 1997. Not sure if it's ok to post links/ads to other games here, but you should be able to find it via Google available for free as Abandonware. I forgot to mention CWG2 had a campaign/scenario editor too, and even multiplayer over Kali.

For Windows 3.1 version. Version 1.01 prevents the OLD UNIT NO = 77 LDR_PTR=252 SUCCID=1702 or similar error that may occur between battles.

NOTE: If you are already getting this error in one of your games, you will need to install the patch, then back up to the end of the previous battle, and then play through the affected scenario again.

This patch is an SHP repackaging of the official CW29514H patch above. The original patch is 16-bit, which will not run on moder x64 windows. This 32-bit patch will run on 64-bit XP, Vista, Win7 and Win8. As with the official CW29514H patch, it updates all versions of Windows 95 Civil War Generals II to version1.04.
